In fact, it’s the first time a car in this market segment is based around such a strong and lightweight racing car engineering solution and no other car has ever featured a one-piece carbon fibre structure.
Formula 1 based sports car design This step in sports car design means that the new McLaren introduces new standards not only in handling, ride and outright performance, but also safety, economics and practicality.
A very special highlight is the interior design which reminds the driver of a Formula 1 cockpit: the assistant system “Brake Steer”, two electrically adjustable seats, operational controls in the doors and the centre console and a touchscreen for the navigation system as well as for the high-end sound system are to be found.
